Our Approach

The youth program at Trinity as a four-fold focus which reflects the early church as noted in Acts 2.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

This means that any time we meet, there is a bit of Bible study, some fellowship, hopefully something to eat and, of course, prayer.

There are a variety of ways to be involved with the youth group at Trinity.  Such as:

Youth Bible Study

On Sundays at 9:30 am the youth meet in the church office and cover a variety of topics, seeking to connect faith and the life of teenagers. Led by Youth and Education Assistant Andy Jones, youth Bible study also seeks to be a safe place where youth can share joys and struggles with brothers and sisters in Christ and not receive judgment or peer pressure, but rather be welcomed with open arms and ears and receive encouragement and hope.

Activities

At Trinity, we hold different events and activities for the youth on a monthly basis. In the past these have involved bowling, swimming, game nights and things of a similar nature.  Youth are always encouraged to invite friends to any activity.  Upcoming activities are listed in Coming Events.

The youth have been involved in the European Church Conferences in Zürich and in London, and have also raised funds for needy causes through the World Hunger Banquet and The Souper Bowl of Caring.

We invite you to become a part of Trinity’s Youth Group! For more information about our group, please contact the church office.
